Loch Lomond

This exquisite 12-year-old single malt has a deeply fruity character. Matured in three types of cask - bourbon, refill and re-charred - these whiskies are married under the watchful eye of Michael Henry, our Master Distiller, to create a perfectly balanced single malt.

Nose: Crisp green apple, ripe pear and refreshing citrus with hints of golden cereal in the background.
Palate: Orchard fruit and lemon meringue. The deep fruitiness of the pear fades into lemon, vanilla meringue and light biscuity sweetness.
Finish: Medium length with light wood smoke and a lingering peaty aftertaste.

Only unpeated barley from Loch Lomond's innovative and unique straight neck pot stills is used for this stunning 14 Year Old. This gives the Loch Lomond single malt its unmistakably fruity character. The whisky is matured for up to twelve months in refill casks made from American oak and French oak from the Limousin region.

Nose: Coconut, green apple and pear, cinnamon and cloves, lemon
Palate: Sweet toffee and vanilla fudge, grapefruit citrus, pineapple, toasted oak
Finish: Long with warming oak spice, clove and aniseed.

This single malt whisky from Loch Lomond matured for 18 years in the best oak casks selected by Master Distiller Tommy Wallace. The long maturation period gives the whisky a balanced flavour with characteristics of sweet wood and a subtle hint of peat and smoke.

Nose: Aromas of green apple and grapefruit paired with the sweetness of honeysuckle and the spice of oak
Palate: Full-bodied and round. Elegant woody notes of toasted oak and green fruits such as apple and gooseberry.
Finish: Long finish with dried tea, tobacco leaves, peat and a subtle hint of smoke.

Loch Lomond 21 year old uses only spirits from its unique straight neck pot stills, innovative stills that allow greater control over the distillation process and allow the spirit to be drawn at different concentrations.

Nose: Toasted oak and coconut, green apple and ginger.
Palate: Sweet vanilla cream, peach and pear, lime juice with a hint of cinnamon.
Finish: Long and dry with a hint of peat smoke and an aftertaste of oak spice.‍

Loch Lomond 30 year old uses unpeated alcohol from its unique straight neck pot stills. These innovative stills allow better control of the distillation stages. This allows Loch Lomond Distillery to emphasise its distinctive fruit character before time and nature work their magic. Non-chill filtered and colourless.

Nose: Honey, peach and melon, vanilla and cinnamon.
Palate: Sweetness of toffee and caramel, crisp green apple and fresh pineapple, light spice of ginger and nutmeg.
Finish: Long with juicy green fruit, kiwi, gooseberry and lime.

This historic whisky was distilled in 1974 and began its journey in American oak casks. After 43 years, it was transferred to Oloroso sherry casks to give it the complexity of dried tropical fruits. These exquisite notes perfectly complement the fruity flavours of the Remarkable Still.‍Bottled at 44.3% vol.‍

Nose: Notes of toffee, orange, green apple, sultanas, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Notes of caramel, vanilla, crisp green apple, melon, kiwi and elderflower.

Loch Lomond Single Grain Whisky is carefully distilled from only the finest malted barley. Distilled in a Coffey pot still, this single grain is smooth and sweet with an added complexity not normally found in single grain.

Nose: Freshly cut barley fields with a malty note, biscuity with baked apples and delicate lemon zest.
Palate: Crisp and delicate. Pineapple juice and lemon zest with a lovely vanilla sweetness on the finish.
Finish: Smooth with soft fruit and a juicy sweetness.‍

Loch Lomond Mizunara has been created to celebrate the historic 150th Loch Lomond Open and to honour all those who have contributed to this important tournament over the last 150 years.

This 29-year-old single malt is matured in American oak casks and finished in Mizunara oak, creating a complex flavour profile of toasted oak, tropical fruits and cinnamon.

Nose: tropical fruits of banana, pineapple and fragrant spices
Palate: toasted oak, caramel, apple, ginger and cinnamon.
Finish: Long finish with a sweetness of melted brown sugar and waves of clove and sandalwood.

Matured in a blend of refilled American oak casks and refilled American bourbon oak casks to give soft, sweet vanilla notes that support the softer peat style of Loch Lomond's unique distillery.

Nose: Dry, smouldering peat smoke with vanilla syrup and crushed black pepper.
Palate: Sweet, medicinal peat and smoked bacon lead to roasted coffee beans with spice notes of cloves and star anise. Warming spices combine with green apple and pear as the fruity character develops.
Finish: Long, waxy peat with citrus hops and gooseberry.

Loch Lomond's Steam & Fire was developed by Master Blender Michael Henry in keeping with the characteristic style of Loch Lomond. Distillates from both the Straight Neck and the traditional Swan Neck distilleries are used for this whisky.  Matured first in American oak casks, then in heavily charred casks, this gives it a rich mouthfeel with notes of oranges, pears and melted brown sugar, with dark chocolate and a slightly smoky finish.
This expression is a tribute to the distillery's remarkable technical skills and the result of the research, experimentation and expertise of its master distillers, distillers and coopers.

Nose: Toffee, apple, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon.
Palate: Silky, orange, peach, jam, coffee, melted brown sugar, toasted marshmallow.
Finish: Medium length, dry finish with dark chocolate and chocolate and light smoke.

How fitting that the "grassy island" gave this exquisite 12-year-old single malt its name. As unique as the island itself, with grassy notes and floral hints of pear sweets, caramel cream, sweet fruits and vanilla. Matured in three hand-picked cask types - bourbon, refill and recharred - these whiskies are then blended in a ratio that only Loch Lomond's Master Distiller Bill White knows. Non-chill-filtered.

Nose: Unmistakably fruity with pear sugar and caramel sweetness. Light notes of freshly mown hay in the summer sun.
Palate: The citrus notes of Seville oranges gain in intensity before giving way to softer fruit notes of peach and apricot. The fruity character gives way to creamy caramel and vanilla notes.
Finish: Medium length with a peppery aftertaste.‍

This exceptional single grain Scotch whisky is made exclusively from heavily peated, malted barley in the Loch Lomond Distillery's malt house. It is then matured in a combination of first and refill bourbon casks from the distillery's own cooperage.

Nose: Clove, vanilla, blackcurrant
Palate: Sweet, spicy peat, green apple, citrus, aniseed
Finish: Crisp, dry finish with distant peat smoke.

Loch Lomond Original is carefully matured in the finest oak casks to achieve the perfect harmony of flavour and aroma, resulting in an elegant, full-bodied whisky with a smoothness that makes it exceptionally drinkable.

Nose: Dark, warm leather that gradually fades into a sweet, malty presence, rounded off by lighter, more subtle wood notes.
Palate: A malty start with appetising sweet cereal notes that transition into a creamy texture. Pronounced nuttiness with Brazil nut flavours and a subtle citrus note.
Finish: Sweet finish of dark molasses with light notes of citrus peel balancing the overall rich and sweet flavour.

Loch Lomond Signature is a luxurious blended whisky bottled after a long and slow maturation in a 100 cask solera system. This solera system combines Oloroso sherry casks with freshly burnt American oak casks to bring out the unique intensity and smoothness of Loch Lomond.

Nose: aromatic in the style of a fortified wine. Full-bodied, rich in sultanas with subtle sherry nuances. Not too strong, but clear and direct. Almost smoky as soon as the darker fruit flavours disappear.
Palate: Malty, firm palate. Notes of cinnamon, ginger and dark sugar unfold in the mouth.
Finish: In the finish, the notes of dried fruit develop into an almost blackcurrant, astringent flavour, with the sweetness softened towards the end by a tart aftertaste of lemon.‍

The Loch Lomond Austria Edition 11Y 2010 is an exquisite single malt whisky from the renowned Loch Lomond distillery. This limited edition whisky was created especially for the Austrian market and is a truly unique taste experience.

Nose: sweet and fruity aromas such as strawberry jam, orange peel, clove, blackcurrant and lemon.
Palate: juicy and fruity with notes of strawberries, oranges, lemons, walnuts and almonds.‍

As with all Loch Lomond single malts, the distillery's underlying fruit character comes with a gentle hint of smoke on the finish. The spirit was matured in three types of American oak casks before receiving a final finish in American virgin oak.
